SCM Music Player – Tumblr Widget

SCM Music Player is one of my Top 3 Tumblr Music Widgets. If you are looking for a music player that is easy to install and is customizable, SCM music player is your pick. The thing that separates it from other music players you can install on tumblr is that you can use Youtube videos with songs and add it to your own personal playlist.
Here is a demo page I made with the SCM music player at the top. Below is a tutorial on how to install the music widget to your tumblr.

How to Add SCM Music Player on Tumblr
- First, gather all the URLS of the song you want to add. You can either get the youtube addresses, or upload songs to Dropbox and use the address from there.
- Once you have all the URLS of the songs you want to add, go to scmplayer.net and go through the tabs to add your customizations to match your theme.
- Add the URL of the songs you gathered on the “Edit Playlist” tab.
- Click done to generate the code
- Go to your tumblr’s HTML code – Tumblr > Customize theme > Edit HTML
- Find where it says <body> and paste the code right after it.
- Hit Save, close and test if it works.
SCM music player spans across your whole tumblr page. If you want to have a small tumblr widget, you might want to add Billy Music Player instead.
