How to Add Ask Box on Tumblr Sidebar

Published by Tumble Guy on March 10th, 2012 |

Do you want your followers and visitors to send you a message on Tumblr?

If you do, then you should add an ask box on your tumblr page. This way other people can communicate with you and be more engaged with your tumblr.

First, make sure that  your ask feature is enabled.

The next step would be to add an ask me link to your description or the sidebar of your theme.

This should be enough to let others know that they can send  you messages. However, if you really want them to send you messages, you should add an ask box form directly to your tumblr page.  When visitors first land on your tumblr, a form like the one below is already available and they won’t need to click through links to find your ask me button.
